Cooperation program between Brazil and Spain

The Financier of Studies and Projects (FINEP / MCT) and the Centre for Technological and Industrial Development (CDTI), an agency of the Spanish government to open the selection process of proposals for the Programme CDTI / FINEP 2010, which supports innovative projects developed in partnership between Brazilian and Spanish companies.

The two funding agencies identify projects and will select P, R & D involving technologies applicable to any area of knowledge, developed under the coordination of firms from Brazil and Spain. The budget proposals in Brazil should be between R$1 million and R$80 million and in Spain, more than 250 000 euros.
The selection process has two phases: the first goes until July 9 and involves the submission of proposals on specific forms. Even at this stage, there will be a joint evaluation of proposals, between 12-31 July. In the second phase, 2-29 September, the companies selected to present the proposed projects in accordance with the terms and conditions of the program, along with a copy of the Term of Technical Partner, to be concluded under the conditions presented in the first phase.

From December 3 the results will be disseminated on the websites of
Finep and CDTI.

Finep CDTI and participate in the Program of Science and Technology Iberoamericana para el Desarrollo (CYTED) as the managing bodies of Iberoeka. In this program there have been 642 projects certified with the Seal Iberoeka, with a total investment of U.S. $ 890 million. Of these, Brazil has participated in 135 projects, with domestic institutions invested $ 60 million.
